Global Positioning System (GPS) surveys in East Anglia
GPS Real Time Kinematic (RTK) units collect large volumes of level data over open areas with great efficiency.
The new SmartNet corrections service allows us to survey Ordinance Survey coordinates in real time. This reduces the need for pre and post processing.
GPS datum levelling
GPS produces Ordinance Survey datum levels instantly. We can overlay these levels on to an existing Ordnance Survey mapping, add contours and show the site in relation to the local flood zones.
GPS surveying
We use our GPS systems as a conventional surveying tool.
GPS does not require a line of sight between two points, thereby allowing us to set up and go, covering a large distance in a short time period and recording excellent site coordinate data.
